K; so I am finding myself grumbling along as trudge to work and back and have realized that I need an attitude adjustment. Here are 10 good things (in no particular order) about Kamloops.
1. I always get a seat on the bus
2. My neighbours actually say hello to me and treat me... well... neighbourly.
3. There is a lot of sky here, usually blue too.
4. It is very quiet at night
5. The bus drivers are friendly, ask me how my day is going and ask me where I'm from (cause I'm clearly not from here, apparently)
6. There is a lack of pretension generally speaking
7. There are very few by laws
8. I get to be the educational spokeswoman for vegetarianism
9. I am learning to cross big roads without the assistance of a crosswalk and I feel wild and reckless!
10. No one knows me here; so I get to be whoever I want without explanation
What? You are crossing the street on unmarked areas? Explain!
