OPEN

We have opened. We are also still rehearsing.
Some is understudy work and the rest working notes that have already been worked. Ugh.
There are some rumours regarding the future of the production, but I'm not sure how imminent those changes would be.
Today is my day off. I tried hard to avoid work, but in the end I needed to get a bit of work done for tomorrow. I might be all talk when it comes to setting healthy work boundaries. I am usually very clear at the start as to what my work boundaries are, but at the end of the day they really don't seem to count for much. I just do what needs to be done and expect a thank you. I get frustrated when work is given to me because others are tired or sleep deprived. Not that I doubt everyone's exhaustion on this show, but I'm not the exception to that, it just doesn't impact my work. Maybe it should.
Perhaps one day I will be a well adjusted and balanced individual who doesn't mistake work for an identity and doesn't measure their worth by their time card. If my friends weren't also workaholics, I'd ask for their advice. ;)

I did do other stuffs today.

I slept some, packed some and hung out with my Kamloops roomie for a bit. We went through some Winter Session 02 memorabilia and discussed the things that have stuck almost 10 years later. Its funny what sticks and what doesn't. I didn't really go to WS to learn communication skills, but for me, in the end that has been the greatest gift of that program. It helps me deal with conflict better than most (which is why I tend to get stuck with conflict resolution in the workplace). My Kamloops roomie, E,  is a mom of 2 small children and I love to watch her parent; cause I can see those same communication skills at work.
E and I are moving this weekend! YAy! I love moving! This isn't my house; so I'm trying to control my packing OCD as best I can. E is more of a wait till the move day, throw it in a box, go, kind of mover. This seems to work for her; so that's what we're gonna do.
