christieloops

Well I've arrived. It's dark, it's cold and I can see the stars here. I'm reeling a little. In the matter of just a couple weeks my world has been pulled apart and ever so strangely stitched back together. Kamloops feels a bit like Mars or Calgary or oddly enough, like a throw back to the eighties.
I'm being kept company by a tank of fish tonight. They are surprisingly loud, as far as fish go anyway.
I would really like to get some sleep, but that's seems unlikely; so I've plunged into some work to get myself set for tomorrow.
Tomorrow is first read, I'll get to meet all these people that I'll be managing for the next six months. I'll see if I can't figure out the buses and I'll get my phone sorted too.
I plan to keep my same number, but different plan; so hopefully I'll be chatting on the phone plenty.
Thank you friends for your patience and assistance this week, I made it safely and with my sanity in tact. And at the end of the day I'm very glad that my 'F' beat out my 'T' and I have my afghan with me. Thanks L.
peace
Cmax
