So the other day in Kamloops, some totally random buddy on the bus called me
'a four eyed b!tch'.
Now Three things.
1) it was honestly unprovoked, which isn't always the case when people start hurling names at me.
2) I was more confused then offended. (I've been called worse and it won't be the first or last time that someone calls me a 'b!tch')
3) I wasn't wearing my glasses-glasses (surprise) I was wearing my sunglasses.
So here's my question.
Does the slanderous remark 'Four Eyes' apply to sunglasses? Maybe prescription sunglasses I could understand, but just regular shades?
If 'Four Eyes' is meant as a derogatory term then it implies that wearing glasses is an unpopular choice. Now for me, wearing glasses is an unpopular choice, just because it is. But that dislike only applies to my prescription glasses not my Sunglasses. I like wearing my sunglasses. I feel kind of gangster. Perhaps I'm wrong (I doubt it) but I thought it was sort of universally accepted that sunglasses are cool. So; if wearing sunglasses is a popular choice then why would it be insulting to comment on the fact?
Any thoughts?
The punk's lack of logic is bugging me. If you're going to insult me, at least make sense when you do so. Unless his ultimate goal was to annoy the crap out of me, then mission accomplished.

Maybe he was talking to the four-eyed bitch behind you? If not then kudos to him for actually managing to insult you in such a way that you somehow affected by it. Even if the result was just confusion.
