Well folks, this month is turning out to be pretty vanilla.
Not a lot of drama and a fair number of cancelled shows due to late trains and low attendance.
So how to spend my time?
I'm trying to get some play development work done and starting to plan for the fall when I return to my beloved home, but that work is feeling a bit tedious at the moment.
What am I loving is my new found motivation for exercise. I'm trying to work up to running the track at the park near our house. The path is better suited for walking or biking though as it's paved and a bit hard on the joints to go for a run. I am walking it at the moment, along with two exercise buddies whom have taken to calling me Coach Christie. giggle. (I wear my Cmax t-shirt to heighten the effect). The track is 3.1Km for the large loop; so we do a couple of those intercepted by sets at the hydraulic circuit stations. (Yes those are part of the park, very cool). Not a bad work out. I have taken to topping off the morning with a bit of P90, just to get the endorphins flowing.
I am also looking into acquiring a mini tramp. Apparently they are a very good low impact work out for runners. That and I love trampolines.
I had one when I was younger and bounced on it for hours on end. We affectionately called it 'The steak'. Ha! I don't remember where that came from, I think it was code for something, 'trampoline', perhaps.
Well that's all I suppose. I need to get my butt to the theatre. Hope this finds you all well. Write again soon
peace
CMax
